King’s is a family church welcoming all generations. We love to have children with us and run a full range of activities for them every Sunday.

Crèche (0-3 year olds)
If you are bringing a baby or toddler to church, we have a crèche open from about 10:30am where you can stay with your child or leave them with our crèche workers. We have a wide range of toys and activities suitable for different age groups.
King’s Kids (4-11 year olds)
On Sunday mornings children stay with their parents until 10:30am before going to their group. We introduce children to Bible stories through drama, songs, games and craft. After some time all together we separate into different age groups. The children are encouraged to develop their own faith – and to have lots of fun!
We operate a name card system which involves parents dropping off their child, keeping the card and then picking up the child by dropping off the card.

“I love King’s Kids because I learn about God and how he loves us!”

If your child has a learning difficulty or disability, please contact us to discuss the best ways we can support your child. We take the safety of our children and youth very seriously. All our helpers have to complete a CRB check and we have a full child protection policy.
Holiday Club
Each summer holiday, we run a week-long holiday club. It runs Monday-Friday, 10:00am-12:00noon each day. This year the club will be from July 25th-29th and our theme is Mission Rescue. It is a really great opportunity for children to learn more about Jesus and have fun at the same time. We have drama, music, puppets, games and creative activities each day.

Our Children’s work team is led by Joy.
Sonic Boom
Our midweek kids club for school years 4-6. We enjoy DVDs, stories, activities and lots of crazy games. Sonic Boom is 50p per session and runs from 6:00-7:15pm on alternate Mondays at the King’s Centre, check the calendar for dates.
Nicola leads Sonic Boom.
