Tots @ King’s
Tots @ King’s is a parent and toddler group held twice a week. It’s a great opportunity for parents and carers take a break and meet others while the children can play in a safe, happy setting.

“I love coming to toddlers because there are lots of toys and children to play with. I especially like playing in the cars, in the play house and on the slide. We also have a drink of juice and yummy biscuits to eat.”
Elliot
Tots is held at the King’s Centre on Wednesday afternoons (1:00-2:30pm) and Thursday mornings (9:30-11:00am) throughout term time (see the calendar page to check dates) and is £1 per session.
Tots @ King’s is led by Lucy and Nicola. Many of our parents and children enjoy coffee or lunch in King’s Café on Tots @ King’s days.
Parenting Courses
Being a parent is probably the most rewarding but difficult job you can do yet you receive little or no training. To support parents we therefore run two courses.
Time Out For Parents
Six sessions cover meeting children’s emotional needs, boosting the parent/child relationship, play, communication, parenting style, strategies for positive behaviour, setting loving limits, keeping children safe, bullying and problem solving.
Time Out From Anger
A highly visual course giving insight into the many causes of anger together with a wealth of tried-and-tested strategies. Two sessions focus on helping adults handle their own anger, and two on helping children manage theirs.
The courses are free and a crèche is provided.
Lucy and Becky run both courses. Please see them or contact the church office for details of the next course.
