Here at King’s we’re passionate about young people meeting God and enjoying life with Him and with each other. We have a great group of 11-18years olds and run events every week open to anyone of the right age who wants to join us.
Our main event each week is Project. Project is a Friday night youth club, a chance to relax together, catch up, play pool, football and table tennis. Each week we have a short talk and there is a tuck shop selling drinks, sweets and snacks.
On alternate Sundays we meet during the preach for ROC Sunday, a chance to chat and discuss things about our faith. Alternate Monday evenings we meet for ROC Monday, an evening of fun, worship and learning together from the Bible. At ROC we’re a group who love God and want to enjoy life with him together. We also like cheesecake!
Every year we go to Newday, a youth event hosted by Newfrontiers, a great week of camping, worship, teaching and lots of fun. Check out the Newday website to find out more!
The Leaders
Andy and Susan head up the Youth work at King’s. Andy is the chief hustler on the pool table. All challengers welcome – as long as you like losing! Susan is our chief organiser and loves sorting everyone out (especially Andy!!!)
Paul and Rebecca both grew up in Darlington. They went away for a few years but couldn’t resist its draw for long! Paul spends everyday shuffling and Rebecca tries to keep him in line.
